Deep airline discounts and value-added resort rates make affordability a reality in exotic Belize

BELIZE – With its lush jungles, diverse wildlife and crystal clear Caribbean waters, Belize has always been one of the most exotic destinations in Central America. Now, for a limited time, it’s also one of the most affordable. American Airlines recently announced a significant sale on airfare to Belize City (BZE) from major U.S. gateways, that when coupled with moderately-priced resorts, can result in the trip of a lifetime costing just a fraction of the typical high season price.

The American Airlines sale is valid on travel from cities including Miami, Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth, St. Louis and Washington, D.C., with fares starting as low as $149 each way, excluding taxes and fees. Rates are valid on weekday travel and flights must be booked by December 22, 2009 for travel by March 27, 2010. Sun seekers can pair this low airfare with nightly cabana rates staring as low as $240 at one of these authentically Belizean resorts to create the tropical vacation of a lifetime.
