Cutler Bay Recognizes Alpha Phi Alpha for Years of Service

CUTLER BAY – The Iota Pi Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. was honored by the Town of Cutler Bay for its years of service to the South Florida community on Wednesday, September 16, 2015. 

At their past meeting, Cutler Bay council members presented the chapter with a proclamation in recognition of the Alpha Phi Alpha fraternal organization’s notable impact on the city. 

During the presentation, Mayor Peggy Bell described the chapter’s recent and ongoing activities throughout the community and cited prominent members working locally and on the national scene. The council joined the mayor in a pledge of commitment for the continued support of the Alpha Phi Alpha chapter’s standing initiatives and youth mentoring campaign.
