City of Miramar Hosting Annual Black History Month Celebration Feb. 7th

MIRAMAR – The City of Miramar will host their annual Black History Month Celebration on Saturday, February 7th from 12:00PM to 4:00PM at Miramar Town Center, 2300 Civic Center Place, Miramar, FL 33025.

The event, hosted by James T. of HOT 105, will be a fun-filled day of food, music, dancing and entertainment to include music hitmakers, The Force MD’s, performing their hits, “Love is a House” and “Tender Love,”; nationally-known gospel group, The Abraham Brothers and Grammy-nominated Pamela Bowen; art drawn by and inspired by Nelson Mandela in The Ansin Art Gallery; a women’s drum and dance ensemble; an African-attire fashion show; chef’s table cooking demonstrations; storytelling; movies and more!

Special guest speakers include former U.S. Congressman Kendrick B. Meek, Weather Channel meteorologist Paul Goodloe, and retired entertainment attorney Jonathan R. Black, Esq.
