Queens, NY – As the anticipation heightens for the 2nd Annual Grace Jamaican Jerk Festival – NY, slated for Sunday, July 22, at Roy Wilkins Park, Queens, renowned chefs Irie Spice (Hugh Sinclair) and Mazie Miller are confirmed to participate and prepare tasty Jerk creations to please the palates of patrons.
Mazie Miller, Grace Food’s Top Chef, will be whipping up tasty treats as she conducts cooking demonstrations featuring some of Grace Food’s newest products. Get ideas for lunch box snacks, hors d’oeuvres, and formal meals from Grace’s cooking expert who will impart some of her vast culinary knowledge and even answer questions from the audience. Miller, who has a distinguished career as a chef and is host of the popular television show “Cooking with Grace”, will give hands-on lessons to patrons interested in creating jerk dishes beyond the normal.
Hugh Sinclair aka Chef Irie, Personal Chef to the stars. He’s known throughout South Florida as the Jamaican born chef with a sweet smile, and great personality. In addition, Chef Irie has an unprecedented gift for culinary creations will make his second appearance at the New York festival to once again wow foodies with his culinary creations and unusual take on Jerk cuisine. Chef Irie’s personal resume includes clients like, NBA 2012 Champion Miami HEAT Mario Chalmers former HEAT player Lamar Odom.

The festival will also feature entertainment on the Main Stage headlined by reggae sensation Tarrus Riley and Fab 5 Band. Plus, comedians Ity & Fancy Cat as well as a Gospel segment featuring Prodigal Son, Eddie Neblett, Yankee B and Dunamis.
Come ready to get your fill of spicy, delicious jerk delights and watch fiery cooking demonstrations. In addition, cheer on your favorite domino team. Lastly, be entertained with cultural presentations featuring Braata Folk Singers and Andrew Clarke.
Advance tickets are $25 and patrons can purchase tickets now on the festival’s website, www.jerkfestivalNY.com and at selected Caribbean outlets. Children 12 years and under will be admitted free.
