Caribbean Tourism Interests Meet with Cuban Tourism Minister

PORT AU PRINCE, Haiti – Jamaica’s Minister of Tourism and Entertainment, Hon. Dr. Wykeham McNeill and fellow Caribbean tourism ministers were in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, to participate in the International Seminar: Multi-destination Opportunities for Regional Integration from May 19 to 22, 2015 as well as the 58th United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) Commission for the Americas.

During the meeting, representatives of the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) and the Cuban Tourism Minister examined ways to enhance collaboration with countries in the region such as Cuba and discuss ways to foster Caribbean tourism through regional cooperation.

Both the Commission meeting and the international seminar were jointly organized by the Haitian Government and the UNWTO.
