Caribbean-inspired Fashion Show to Shine Spotlight on Caribbean Design for the World to See

TORONTO, Ontario – International fashion marketing company, Caribbean Fashion Canada Inc. (CFC) is seeking talented Caribbean designers. According to Sharon Cornwall, Senior Partner of CFC, “CFC is building a national and international fashion event that will become the calling card for designers, and fashion industry to gather collectively”.

The Canadian fashion industry is ripe for exposure to the innovative designs of Caribbean designers. Our strategy is to eventually showcase and market the Caribbean apparel industry to the world.

CFC wants to meet all talented emerging and established Caribbean fashion designers interested in showcasing. We are interested in applications from Caribbean Designer from the Caribbean islands, Europe, United States and Canada who have the talent and drive to make a big splash on the world stage.

Fashion Television star Jeanne Beker will be hosting CFC’s runway fashion show and Jamaican-born super model Stacey McKenzie is partnering with CFC as their ambassador. They have hired only the best to run this event. The runway shows will be professionally staged using top lighting and sound companies as well as professional runway models.

We know that Caribbean fashion designers attract attention at regional and international events. And we also know that these small and innovative apparel businesses have few resources to market themselves consistently to the world. CFC, with contacts and alliances with fashion industry bodies, fashion events and experts, was formed to fill that marketing gap.
