Caribbean American firm to host National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day Fair

FORT LAUDERDALE – Minority Development & Empowerment, Inc. in partnership with the American Red Cross (Broward County) and Amerigroup will host a fair recognizing National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day on Wednesday, February 7 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

The National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day fair will provide HIV/AIDS Testing, Educational Workshops, Prevention Tips, giveaways and refreshments.

The fair will be held at the Lauderdale Lakes Community Council Facility at the Lauderdale Marketplace located at 3720 West Oakland Park Boulevard (441 & Oakland Park) in Lauderdale Lakes.

Minority Development & Empowerment, Inc. will also participate in other activities recognizing this day around the Fort Lauderdale area including the Safer Sex Awareness Event at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale and the Community Resource Fair at Samuel Delevoe Memorial Park.
