Caribbean Airlines Operations; Some delays still expected on international flights

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad – Caribbean Airlines’ is doing its utmost to bring its operations back to normal despite the distribution problems associated with the quality of fuel obtained by its suppliers.

Tobago operations resumed at approximately eleven o’clock this morning, Wednesday, May 20th with normal schedules recommencing thereafter on the domestic air bridge.



Some interruptions are expected to occur due to the backlog of international flights despite a fuel delivery at 2pm today from NP to Piarco International Airport.

Customers are advised to contact the Caribbean Airlines Call Centre at 625-7200 or to log onto www.caribbean-airlines.com for further information.

The airline wishes to advise the traveling public that the difficulties being experienced with the fuel supply at Piarco and Crown Point International airports were beyond its control, and would like to reiterate its apologies to those customers who were severely inconvenienced. The airline will provide full refunds to those customers whose flights were cancelled and were not accommodated on alternate services.
