Since the launch of the Task Force in the summer of 2005, under the Chairmanship of Mr. Arthur Lok Jack, the airline industry of Trinidad & Tobago has undergone substantial change. The Task Force was established to meet specific challenges in building a sustainable industry, and this resulted in the closure of BWIA and the launch of Caribbean Airlines.
