Calling on South Florida Fathers for Discussion Group

PEMBROKE PINES – On Monday, December 22, 2008, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm Dr. Percy Ricketts, LMHC, Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) /Fatherhood Educator will be holding a Fatherhood Discussion Group at his Pembroke Pines office.

Research has found that a father’s absence, under-involvement and un-involvement result in major problems in our society and society benefits when fathers are present and when they are involved in their children’s lives.

At the “Fatherhood Discussion Group” effective strategies to remove barriers and to improve father involvement will be explored. To be a part of the discussion group pre-registration is required as seating is limited. There will be a $20 registration fee which will include materials to be used in the meeting.
