Broward Black Elected Officials and community leaders encouraging early voting

FT. LAUDERDALE – Broward Black Elected Officials and community leaders will be marching to the polls and voting early on Saturday, October 28, and Sunday, October 29, from 12:00pm – 3:00 pm at the Lauderhill Mall.

Broward’s Black Elected Officials and community leaders want to show strength and unity as they vote together and send a strong message that our votes must count.

The community is encouraged to join elected officials, church leaders, community activists, to win back Florida for working families. Broward margin of victory will secure a Democratic Win.

The Broward Elected Officials are recommending a vote for the following:

• Overhauling FCAT
• Higher pay for teachers
• Closing the educational achievement gap
• Advancing minority business development
• Revitalizing Florida’s underserved communities
• Expanding access to quality health care
• Accountability from insurance companies
• Restoring voting rights
• Dream Act & Instate Tuition Rates for students
