Exclusive Bahamas Signature Bridal Shows To Be Held in Florida, January 21-24, 2016
PLANTATION – Several Bridal Shows are scheduled to showcase The Islands of The Bahamas as they will host its new Romance Circuit Signature Bridal Shows in Orlando, Boca Raton and Plantation, Florida, January 21-24, 2016.
This new initiative is designed to showcase the diverse wedding and honeymoon options available in The Bahamas’ 700 islands chain.
Scheduled Bridal Shows
The Signature Bridal Shows are scheduled to take place from 6 pm to 9 pm at the Embassy Suites Orlando Downtown Hotel, 191 East Pine Street, in Orlando, Florida on January 21. On January 23, from 1-4 p.m. the show will be held at the Addison, 2 East Camino Real, in Boca Raton and from 1-4 p.m. at the Jacaranda Country Club, 9200 W. Broward Boulevard, in Plantation, Florida, on January 24, 2016.
Freda Malcolm, Director of Romance, at The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism (BMOT) said “because of The Bahamas’ unparalleled diversity of its multi islands chain, and its romantic and natural beauty, The Bahamas has become one of the most sought after destinations for weddings and honeymoons in the Caribbean.
“Destination Weddings in particular have been increasing over the past few years and The BMOT’s romance team endeavors to attract these lovebirds to our shores – whether it is a beach, garden, historical monument, themed or church wedding – our aim is to set couples’ weddings and romance experiences apart from any other type of travel making it a once in a life-time occasion,” she said.
“The BMOT is setting a new trend in how we interact with engaged couples desirous of having either a destination wedding or honeymoon in The Islands of The Bahamas,” she said.
The exclusive Bahamas Signature Bridal Show will give newly engaged couples residing in the Florida area the opportunity to meet, one-on-one with The Bahamas’ leading wedding and honeymoon vendors, each providing a $250 credit toward any of their prospective wedding services in The Bahamas as well as win a dream wedding package to The Bahamas inclusive of hotel accommodations and airfare for two.
Authentic Bahamian fashions shows, live cultural entertainment, refreshments among other prizes are also expected to take place during the show.
