Boynton Beach Mall To Host First Caribbean Diversity Festival On Saturday, May 7

BOYNTON BEACH – Boynton Beach Mall will hold its first-ever Caribbean Diversity Festival on May 7 from 2 – 4 p.m. This free public event, “A Time to Recognize, Honor and Celebrate South Florida’s Diversity,” will feature a variety of live local entertainment, dance performances and exhibitors to benefit and raise awareness for Foundation Hope for Haiti, Inc., a charitable organization that provides financial and technical support to other Haitian-based non-profit organizations working in the sectors of community development, education and health.

Featured live performers include Alexander Star, a hip hop singer/rapper with reggae roots, Sassy Singz, a R&B and hip hop performer, M.A.E (Maven Academy Entertainment) comprised of Said Yapp (singer/rapper/songwriter), Lil Bitt (singer/rapper/songwriter), Santiago (singer/songwriter/producer), Dragana (singer/songwriter) and Tiff (singer/songwriter) and Yanatha Desouvre, a performance poet, writer and published author. Born in Haiti, Desouvre is a member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences and recently released his audio book, Walk Through This Journey: Volume One.

Hosted by X102.3 FM’s on-air personality Cierra “The Midday Goddess” and Renda Writer with additional music by DJ Dumi, this interactive event will also showcase a fashion show from Authentic Fashion Renaissance and other performances by Christian Rivera, Zumba Dancers, belly dancers and more.
