Bahamas DPM Cynthia Pratt to address Microsoft Women’s Conference in Washington

NASSAU, The Bahamas – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Security the Hon Cynthia Pratt left Nassau on Sunday, January 8, to attend the Fourth Annual Microsoft Women’s Conference in Redmond, Washington, D.C.

Deputy Prime Minister Pratt will be a keynote speaker at the conference to be held under the theme, “Driving Your Success”. The conference will focus on providing women the skills and aspirations they need to take personal responsibility to define and achieve success.

Debra Chrapaty, the Microsoft Women’s Conference executive sponsor, highly recommended Deputy Prime Minister Pratt as a keynote speaker, after hearing her address the Global Summit for Women held June 23-25, 2005, in Mexico City, Mexico.

The annual Microsoft Women’s Conference provides networking, enrichment, skill building and career advancement opportunities for women throughout the company. An estimated 4,000 employees from around the world are expected to attend the three-day event.
