Apple Vacations Launches Nonstop Winter Flights To Jamaica From Lansing, MI

Kingston, Jamaica – On December 26, 2010, Apple Vacations will launch the only nonstop air service to Montego Bay (MBJ), Jamaica, from Capital City Airport (LAN) in Lansing, MI. Capital City Airport’s convenient location makes a warm-weather getaway even more accessible to residents of Michigan and Indiana. Flights will operate on Sundays through April 24, 2011.

“We are excited to welcome this nonstop seasonal service, which offers Michigan and Indiana residents an escape from the cold winter weather,” said Jamaica’s Director of Tourism John Lynch. “Apple Vacations continues to be a great partner to Jamaica, providing a wide range of attractive packages and incentives for travel to the destination.”

The new service offers departure from LAN at 7:00 a.m., with a 10:55 a.m. arrival at MBJ. The return flight departs MBJ at 11:50 a.m., arriving LAN at 3:50 p.m. Apple Vacations flies SunCountry Airlines, using B737-800 aircraft configured with 162 seats.
