100 Black Men of Greater Fort Lauderdale seeks students for Leadership Academy on Economic Development

FT. LAUDERDALE – The 100 Black Men of Greater Fort Lauderdale is looking for students to participate in one of the most dynamic learning opportunities consisting of young men across Broward County.

The 100 Black Men of Greater Fort Lauderdale is having their quarterly Leadership Academy that is designed to help mold and shape young men of African / Caribbean descent to become positive influences in our society. Their Leadership Academy provides exceptional mentoring for young men in Business and Entrepreneurship, Economic Development, Financial Literacy, and Health and Wellness.

Beginning Saturday, September 8th, we will begin meeting with prospective young men of African / Caribbean descent to participate in our Leadership Academy. This twelve week session of the Leadership Academy will discuss Economic Development and Financial Literacy. Each participant will receive materials that will improve their understanding of various financial strategies and wealth creation. The knowledge and experience that is gained from the Leadership Academy will educate and guide each participant with future endeavors.

The 100 Black Men of Greater Fort Lauderdale, would like the young men to take advantage of such an awarding program and reap the benefits that our Leadership Academy has to offer.

The orientation will take place at City Furniture Corporate Headquarters located at 6701 Hiatus Road in Tamarac. The orientation will begin at 10:00AM until 12:00PM. There will be a $25.00 registration fee which will include all course materials and a continental breakfast for each session.

The 100 Black Men of Greater Fort Lauderdale is a chapter of the 100 Black Men of America. The 100 Black Men of America is an international organization that seeks to improve the overall economic conditions of our communities and the educational opportunities for our children.
