The Miss Florida Caribbean Pageant Returns!

Fort Lauderdale – After a 7 years’ hiatus, the Miss Florida Caribbean Pageant is making a much-awaited comeback.

The re-launch will restore its past glory as one of the Caribbean Diaspora’s most prestigious productions in the Southeast region.

The pageant is rooted in promoting the awareness of various social issues that affect the Caribbean-American community.

In 2017 the Miss Florida Caribbean pageant under the slogan “Pageant with a Mission”, will launch the WISE SAVING, BETTER LIVING Financial Literacy Campaign. According to Pageant Director, Jannice Davis, “learning about finance needs to begin at an early age. It’s essential to start with our youths as they are our future business leaders”.

The Miss Florida Caribbean Pageant is dedicated to uplifting, educating, and motivating girls and young women by providing self-esteem enhancing programs which will include a six-week workshop featuring classes on financial literacy, dressing for success, communicating effectively and personality development.
