The Miss Jamaica Florida Pageant is now accepting applications

FT. LAUDERDALE - The Partners for Youth Foundation in association with ABI Startime is now accepting applications for the Miss Jamaica Florida 2006 Pageant.

All qualified applicants must either be Jamaican born or of Jamaican parentage.

The pageant is the annual fundraiser event for the Partners of Youth Foundation, where young ladies vie for the titles of Little Miss (Ages 5-8); Junior Miss (Ages 9-12); Miss Teen (Ages 13-16) and Miss (Ages 17-21). This year's event is schedule to be held on June 25, 2006 at the Coral Springs Center for the Arts.

The Partners for Youth Foundation is committed to the enhancement and recognition of young women in the Performing Arts. One of the objectives is to promote the "Arts" by offering an annual non-renewable scholarship to a female student majoring in theatre or music.
