JAMAICA WELCOMES NEW NONSTOP DELTA AIR LINES SERVICE FROM NEW YORK

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jamaica continues to boost nonstop airlift with Delta Air Lines’ new, daily year-round service from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to Montego Bay’s Sangster International Airport (MBJ). Travelers can get a head-start on planning their winter escape and enjoying the new flight service, which begins December 15, 2012.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Delta’s new daily service, offering travelers even more convenient options from New York to Jamaica,” said John Lynch, Jamaica’s Director of Tourism. “Jamaica continues to grow in popularity as a vacation destination, and Delta’s growing service enhances the accessibility and opportunities for nonstop travel.”

"We're excited to be announcing expanded service to Jamaica and at the same time we're building our new domestic hub at LaGuardia Airport," said Gail Grimmett, Delta's Senior Vice President – New York. "It's another step toward achieving our goal of becoming the preferred airline in New York."

The daily service will depart JFK at 8:45 a.m., with a 1:02 p.m. arrival at MBJ. The return flight will depart MBJ at 2:00 p.m., arriving JFK at 5:58 p.m.
