DJS FOR OBAMA BLOCK PARTY RESCHEDULED TO MAY 19TH
Miami - Due to impending inclement weather in South Florida for the weekend, the anticipated DJs for Obama Block Party set for Saturday, April 21st, 2012, 2-8pm at Wynwood Walls has been rescheduled to Saturday, May 19, 2012 at the same time and venue, 2528 NW 2nd Avenue, Wynwood, Midtown Miami. All online ticket contributions will be honored for this rescheduled date.
Pending final confirmations with professional schedules, the Block Party will continue to feature some of South Florida's leading spin masters and radio personalities in the entertainment industry, such as DJs Lorenzo Ice Tea, The Brass King, Papa Keith, Stryke, Austin Cohen, Lady B, Barrie Hype, Delano of Renaissance, Beat, Dorenzo, Eternal Vibes, Fly Guy, House Arrest, Kauze, Maestro, Niko Star, Timmy HMV, Slim Vybez, Pablo of Hardcore Movements, Peter T, among others. The Block Party will also welcome renowned MC hosts and VJs such as Monie Love, Supa Cindy, Vanessa James, Felisha Monet, Mocha Jean, and Giselle D' Wassi One. Special appearances are also expected from performing artists Roberto and Reynaldo Martino of Haiti's leading konpa music band, T-Vice, Melky Jean, sister of Wyclef Jean, emerging hop-hop artist, Shifta of Timeless Records, Casely, and violinist duo, Sons of Mystro.
The event will also include live graffiti and visual artist paintings, Obama chum giveaways, and opportunities to meet campaign staff, register to vote, request an absentee ballot, or to generally engage with the campaign.
