Sandals Royal Bahamian Re-Opens To Full House

NASSAU, Bahamas – Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa Resort & Offshore Island located in Nassau, Bahamas re-opened yesterday (Oct. 25th), welcoming guests and debuting an extensive US$4 million makeover.

The resort, which was originally slated to re-open October 14 following its scheduled renovations, was forced to postpone in the wake of Hurricane Matthew.

According to Sandals Resorts officials, Sandals Royal Bahamian opened to a full house.

“It’s absolutely fantastic to be back open and welcoming guests in the Bahamas,” said Sandals Resorts Chairman Gordon “Butch” Stewart.  “The property has never looked better and our team is excited about what is shaping up to be a tremendous winter season.”

From behind-the-scenes repairs such as an overhauled boiler system and revamped plumbing to guest pleasers that include a brand new main pool deck and new furniture and finishings in rooms and in common areas, “Sandals Royal Bahamian has undergone an extensive renovation,” says Stewart.
