Miami Book Fair Celebrates Its 33rd Anniversary

MIAMI – Miami Dade College’s (MDC) acclaimed Miami Book Fair, the nation’s finest and largest literary gathering, will celebrate its 33rd edition this year Nov. 13 – 20 at MDC Wolfson Campus in downtown Miami.

More than 200 exhibitors from around the country will participate during the weekend Street Fair, Nov. 18 – 20.

The Miami Book Fair will treat book lovers to eight days of cultural and educational activities, including the beloved Evenings With… series presenting some of the world’s greatest authors; the IberoAmerican Authors program highlighting authors and books from Latin America and Spain; literacy and learning activities for children/teens during Generation Genius Days; The Porch, an outdoor gathering spot featuring live music and DJ’s, giant games and comfy seating, food trucks, a bar and daily programs highlighting local cultural organizations.

Miami Book Fair Launches Read Caribbean

A new addition to Miami Book Fair launches this year, Read Caribbean, to highlight the region’s authors and topics that get at the heart of the Caribbean experience.

This year, The Kitchen goes big! An outdoor kitchen stadium will feature cooking demos by top chefs, and culinary discussions for food enthusiasts. The Kitchen’s programs are carried out in partnership with MDC’s Miami Culinary Institute, and made possible with generous support of the Miami Downtown Development Authority.
