Caribbean-Owned Franchise a Hit During Penn Relay Carnival

PHILADELPHIA – Golden Krust Caribbean Bakery & Grill, among the fastest growing privately-owned food franchises in the U.S. known for its signature golden crust patties and other Caribbean culinary delights, was a hit during the 122nd staging of the Penn Relays Carnival at Franklin Field in Philadelphia.

Fans of all backgrounds turned out in record numbers to witness the intense rivalry among the over 50 Jamaican high schools and college teams that participated this year and could not get enough of the Golden Krust Jamaican patties, pastries and popular jerk chicken which were on offer.
