Florida International Trade & Cultural Expo (FITCE) to Welcome International Community at Inaugural Expo

Broward County – The Florida International Trade & Cultural Expo (FITCE) will welcome local and national elected officials, former country presidents, former prime ministers, delegates, and bi-national chambers to its inaugural expo October 12-16, 2015 at the Greater Fort Lauderdale-Broward County Convention Center.

On Monday, October 12th, a who’s who of politicians and dignitaries will attend the Democracy in the Americas Symposium (DITAS) 2015 Presidential Dinner.  Moderated by NBC 6 South Florida’s Investigative Reporter, Willard Shepard, the DITAS Presidential Dinner will welcome Lieutenant Governor of Florida, Carlos Lopez-Cantera , former president of Bolivia; The Honorable Jorge Quiroga; former Prime Minister of Haiti; The Honorable Gerard Latortue; The Honorable E.P. Chet Greene, M.P., Minister of Trade, Industry, Commerce and Consumer Affairs and Minister of Sport, Culture and National Festivals for Antigua and Barbuda; The Honorable Marco Midence, Minister of Technology and Communications, Honduras and the Former President of Dominican Republic, The Honorable Leonel Fernandez as keynote speaker.

Collaborating with its six founding partners, Florida International Trade & Cultural Expo will include a technology and social media lounge, international business matchmaking, keynote luncheons, VIP receptions, educational panel discussions, informational workshops, networking sessions and food and cultural experiences. The Expo hall  will open on Tuesday, October 13th and will host local, national, and international companies including, Allied Steel Buildings, Hensel Phelps Development, Florida Power & Light (FPL), Broward College, Fort Lauderdale Strikers, Memorial Healthcare Systems, T-Mobile, Odebrecht, and Sprint to name a few.

“The caliber of guests and panelists who will attend and participate in Florida International Trade & Cultural Expo is impressive.
