SOUTH FLORIDA – The Caribbean American Democratic Club of Broward County is pleased to present its signature fundraising event with keynote speaker Congresswoman Yvette Clarke out of Brooklyn, New York on Sunday, August 17, 2014.

This is more than your usual awards luncheon; the committee has worked diligently to showcase the diverse Caribbean diaspora in Broward County and to make the event the place Democrats seeking our votes must attend, said President Dwight Moore.

In addition to the prestigious awards that will be presented, the Keynote Speaker for the evening is expected to ignite the fire in the strong Caribbean Democratic voting base. Congresswoman Yvette Clarke will be introduced by her colleague Congressman Alcee Hastings. Other speaker will be Tuskegee Airman, Leo R. Gray, Lt. Col. Awards will be presented in the areas of Politics, Education, Community Service and Lifetime Achievement.

Florida is fired up and ready for change, fired up and ready to work, fired up and ready to vote, fired up and ready for the win. Change is ours to make said Rep.
Hazelle Rogers, President of the Caribbean Democratic Caucus of Florida and Honorary Chair of the event.
