Caribbean Bar Association General Meeting to focus on Non-Profit Board Leadership & Service

FCBAsmalllogoT. LAUDERDALE – The Caribbean Bar Association will host its first general meeting for the 2014/2015 year on Thursday, November 20th.

The meeting will also include an informative and lively panel discussion geared towards informing our members of the benefits of serving on Non-Profit boards and the duties and responsibilities of board members. Attendees will earn free CLE credits.

The discussion will be moderated by Marlon Hill, Esq. and our distinguished panelists include Sidney Calloway, Esq, who has served on several boards including the Urban League of Broward County and Early Learning Coalition of Broward County; Lisa Colon-Heron, Esq., CBA past president, board member and General Counsel of the National Association of Minority Contractors and Stanley Zamor, Circuit Court mediator, educator and board member of ArtServe, Inc.

The meeting will be held on November 20, 2014 at 1051 SE 3rd Avenue, Ft. Lauderdale, 33316, beginning at 6:00 pm.

The meeting also coincides with the 3rd Annual Give Miami Day promoting 24 hours of charitable giving and philanthropy to local non-profits in Miami Dade County.
