Caribbean-American Heritage Month Achiever: Maxwell Miller – CooCaRoos Cafe and Juice Bar

Maxwell Miller, Owner of CooCaRoos Cafe and Juice Bar sits with the South Florida Caribbean News Team to talk about his new venture.

Q: What is the story beyond the name of your restaurant?

MM: Six years before I opened CooCaRoos, I saw a movie and they were talking about CooCaRoos and I loved the name.

Q: Name three things people experience when they come to CooCaRoos?

MM: Tranquility, Five-star service and awakening. CooCaRoos is a place you can come to gather not only to eat and drink healthy, but also for meaning and spirited conversations.

Q: Name some of the popular items on your menu?

MM: Our Fruitaroos Smoothie – (Strawberry, ginger, pineapple, banana and papaya); the Ochos Rios Roast snapper stuffed with conch and our conch soup to name a few.

Q: Is their entertainment at your cafe?

MM: We have poetry every third Thursday and Karaoke every Saturday. Our “Acoustic Occasion Monthly Series” starts on July 10.
